Academics
As students advance through the program at Wilmington Middle School, they will work to master content area standards in math, science, language arts, history, and government. Our academic program emphasizes high standards and personal responsibility while providing our students with the support necessary to become independent learners.
Student Responsibilities
At WMS, we expect students to:
Follow directions
Show respect
Be prepared
Manage time wisely
Be responsible for their actions and work
Students should expect homework in every class. Homework information is available by following the links at the side of this page. Be sure to use this opportunity to practice new concepts and demonstrate the skills you have mastered.
Parent Responsibilities
True education is a collaborative effort among the school, family, and community. Parents should:
Communicate with the school/teacher
Encourage their child to do their best
Get their children to school each day, on time
Maintain current emergency contact information
Provide for the health and safety of their children
We have provided resources and links throughout our website to help keep communication lines open. Homework information is available at the side of this page, grading and attendance monitoring is available through our Skyward portal, and you will find teacher contact information on our Staff page. Please let us know if you have any questions.
