Today is an A-Day.

Seniors – On Thursday May 2, 2025, we will complete the official Senior Exit Survey on Naviance.  You must complete the Exit Survey on a Chromebook.

Interact Club Meeting on Friday May 2nd during WT in Cafetorium.

Congratulations to Sally Clifford for receiving scholarships from the "Irish American Society" and "Women of Wilmington" to travel to Ireland and attend the Irish Life Experience for 3.5 weeks this summer.

Cheerleading tryouts for the 2025-2026 season are coming soon! Open gyms will be held May 12th and 13th from 3-5pm. Mandatory tryout clinics will be held May 20th, 21st, 22nd from 3-5pm

All athletes are required to do the following prior to tryout clinics: register on the Google Form, obtain a current athletic physical and return the signed rules agreement.   Any athletes that may have a conflict with a spring sport, or have further questions, should contact  Coach Jeannine Bejlovec via email  jbejlovec@209u.net

For anyone interested in joining colorguard for the 2025-2026 school year, auditions will be held from 5-530 on May 7th in the Band Room. Please see Ms. Antos if you are interested in auditioning for cologuard or have any questions about the audition. 

WHS Students:    Don’t forget to order your 2025 WHS Yearbook.   You can do so on the WHS website under the Yearbook Tab.


If you are planning on applying for NHS next year and need service hours, a tutoring opportunity may be available.  Please email Brenda in the Guidance Office if you are interested in after-school or summer tutoring.

Free Tutoring continues for the semester every Tuesday from 3:10-4:10pm.  Tutoring will be available with Ms. Keane for English and Essays, with Mrs. Maupin for Math, and with Mr. Ivanoff for Science.

All students must be parked in their assigned parking spot.  Be sure to pick-up and complete a yellow driver application form in the main office.  Return it along with a $50.00 payment to Krista ASAP.  All students must have their vehicles registered in the main office.

If you are planning on applying to National Honor Society, or for college scholarships in the future, it is important for you to document your volunteer hours and collect supervisor signatures.  Pick up a volunteer log in the Guidance Office. To qualify for National Honor Society, students need at least 50 hours of community service. 

Struggling, Stressed, Sad, Concerned for a Friend, or Just Need Someone to Talk Text To?   Use the Text a Tip Hotline anytime at 1-844-823-5323.  As always, our school counselors are available to talk with you as well.   A note will be sent to your school email later today with more information.

WHS Students:  please continue to monitor your grades thru your Skyward Account.  Please check your school email 2-3 times daily.

The Service Road between WHS and WMS/SIS is Off-Limits to bike riders and walkers before and after school.   The service road is for buses only in the morning and afternoon.   Vehicles should not drive on the service road as it is reserved for the School Buses.   No Skateboards on WHS property.

Students driving to and from school day should obey the Speed Limit and Stop Signs.  Especially on Wildcat Court, watch your speed limit.  Please take the responsibility as a driver to follow driving laws.    Please take extra caution with the snow, ice, and wind when arriving and departing.
