Today is an A-Day.
Reminder to all students: Chromebooks are to be used for learning. Chromebooks should not be used for games/movies during the school day which includes WT. Please cooperate with this request.
Seniors - The fall 2026 application for Joliet Junior College opened on October 1st. If you plan to attend JJC, be sure to apply early so you receive the information you need to register for next fall.
Interact Club Meeting today in the District Board Room.
Monday October 6th is National Bully Prevention Day. Studies have shown that bullies have low self-esteem and also have difficulty with social skills. Reporting bullying behavior can help both the victim and the bully. Wear a Blue Shirt on Monday October 6th.
There will be a Boys Basketball Meeting on Monday October 6th in Room 221 for those that are interested in playing this season. If you have any questions see Mr. Krop.
The cheerleading team is looking to potentially add athletes for the WINTER season. Cheer, dance, or tumbling experience is preferred. If you are interested, please reach out to Coach Bejlovec by Monday, October 6th for tryout information or with any questions. jbejlovec@209u.net

Juniors and seniors who are in AP classes - be sure to turn in your AP Test registration form, with your check by Friday, October 17th. There is a $40 late fee after that date.
Students – if you wish to utilize the student parking lot with a vehicle, be sure to have your application and $50 returned to Krista in the main office. No Application and no payment made means no parking spot. You must park in your assigned parking spot.
If you are planning on applying for NHS next year and need service hours, a tutoring opportunity may be available. Please email Brenda in the Guidance Office if you are interested in after-school or summer tutoring.
Free Tutoring will be available every Tuesday from 3:10-4:10pm. Classrooms for tutoring will be Ms. Keane for English and Essays, Mrs. Maupin for Math, and Mr. Ivanoff for Science
If you are planning on applying to National Honor Society, or for college scholarships in the future, it is important for you to document your volunteer hours and collect supervisor signatures. Pick up a volunteer log in the Guidance Office. To qualify for National Honor Society, students need at least 50 hours of community service.

WHS Students: please continue to monitor your grades thru your Skyward Account. Please check your school email 2-3 times daily.
The Service Road between WHS and WMS/SIS is Off-Limits to bike riders and walkers before and after school. The service road is for buses only in the morning and afternoon. Vehicles should not drive on the service road as it is reserved for the School Buses. No Skateboards on WHS property.
Students driving to and from school day should obey the Speed Limit and Stop Signs. Especially on Wildcat Court, watch your speed limit. Please take the responsibility as a driver to follow driving laws. Please take extra caution with the snow, ice, and wind when arriving and departing.
