Today is an A-Day.    

Auditions for the fall play "The Butler Did It" begin tonight and Thursday August 27th at 3:00 pm in Mr. Snyder’s Room 104.

NHS Meeting on Friday August 28th during WT in Mrs. Maupin’s Room 101.

School Photo Day will be Wednesday September 2nd from 8- 10 am.  This photo will be included in the the school yearbook and used for school id’s.   Please dress appropriate for your school photos.   Senior and Underclass grade levels will be called down to the small gym via intercom.

Try-Outs for Willy Wildcat for 2027-28 school year will take place on Thursday August 27th at 3 pm in the Small Gym.  See Ms. Antos or Jimmy Lewsader with questions.

Sophomores, juniors and seniors should be sure to take their PreACT and ACT Test score sheets home to share with their parents.  You received these scores during class meetings, or during Wildcat Time.  We have emailed your parents to let them know that you will be bringing your scores home.

Interested in joining student council? If you have not picked up an application packet yet, please see Ms. Antos for one. Applications are due to Ms Antos Monday, August 31st at 3pm. Late applications will not be accepted. 

Parking Applications are located in the main office.   The Parking Application and $50 fee is due before you receive an parking pass.   Open Parking through Friday August 28th.    We will start assigning spots with Seniors and move to juniors later in the week.

Homecoming Guest request forms are located on the Main Office Counter.   For those interested in bringing an out of school guest to Homecoming must complete and return the form by September 18th.

If you like making YouTube videos or recording podcasts, then the WHS AV Club is for you.   We are having a short meeting on Friday August 28th during WT in Room 213.   Please contact Mr. McGee if you cannot attend but still have an interest in the AV Club.

Reminder to all students:   Chromebooks are to be used for learning.  Chromebooks should not be used for games/movies during the school day which includes WT.    Please cooperate with this request.  And, as a reminder, be sure Cell Phones are placed in the Cell Phone Holders or left in your locker.

If you are planning on applying for NHS next year and need service hours, a tutoring opportunity may be available.  Please email Brenda in the Guidance Office if you are interested in after-school or summer tutoring.

Free Tutoring will be available every Tuesday’s for Math/English and Wednesday’s for Science from 3:10-4:10 pm starting after Labor Day.  Classrooms for tutoring will be Ms. Keane for English and Essays, Mrs. Maupin for Math, and Mr. Ivanoff for Science.

If you are planning on applying to National Honor Society, or for college scholarships in the future, it is important for you to document your volunteer hours and collect supervisor signatures.  Pick up a volunteer log in the Guidance Office. To qualify for National Honor Society, students need at least 50 hours of community service.

WHS Students:  please continue to monitor your grades thru your Skyward Account.  Please check your school email 2-3 times daily.

The Service Road between WHS and WMS/SIS is Off-Limits to bike riders and walkers before and after school.   The service road is for buses only in the morning and afternoon.   Vehicles should not drive on the service road as it is reserved for the School Buses.   No Skateboards on WHS property.

Students driving to and from school day should obey the Speed Limit and Stop Signs.  Especially on Wildcat Court, watch your speed limit.  Please take the responsibility as a driver to follow driving laws.    Please take extra caution with the snow, ice, and wind when arriving and departing.
