Mrs. Georgeff and four Wilmington Middle School 8th grade band students—Payden, Gage, Logan, and Aiden—had the opportunity to attend Olivet Nazarene University’s Honor Band Festival. Students invited to participate were nominated based on merit, dependability, and musical skill. While several WMS students were nominated, these four were ultimately selected by ONU’s Director of Bands.

During the festival, students worked with two guest conductors and performed a concert featuring seven pieces of music alongside approximately 100 other area students. Congratulations to Payden, Gage, Logan, and Aiden on this outstanding accomplishment!
